Day 10 is about the same as day 9. However, for day 10, instead of doing project, we will be traveling to the Cola factory! At first, I was excited about visiting it as I thought we will be able to see the process of making Coke and how much sugar is in each bottle! Also, Dr Sujit told us that there will be a free can of Coke for everyone since the place manufacture Coke and should have many cans. However, the trip is rather of a disappointment. We spent 1 hour traveling there but only 40min in exploring the place. Also, they did not mention to us much about the different places of the factory but just bought us to different places of the factory to take picture. Lastly, Dr Sujit lied to us!!! No Coke was given and the reason they gave was they were short of Coke!! I find it ridiculous that a Coke factory that manufacture so many bottles of Coke every day did not even Coke for 43 people! As a results, many students were complaining about this industrial visit saying that it was a waste of time. Anyway, it was also a great experience there to see how big the factory is and it is fun to spend time with my friends taking pictures! Moreover, this is also the chance for me to interact with people from other classes to make more friends!(bonding session!) Here of the pictures taken there:
Even Coke Cola factory has Vision, Values and Purposes!
Posters on Coke!
Bottles of Coke! So many bottles but they do not have 43 bottles for us!
Celebrities that approve and support Coke!
Even Yao Ming, Steven Chow, Jackie Chan and Jay Chou support Coke!!!
And here is the huge factory!
The worker here working in taking bottles that does not meet the minimum criteria
I find this job really tiring as he is doing the same thing over and over again. Personally, I will not be able to do it as there are no challenging stuffs for me to solve and it will be be very boring for me. However, he can stand there for years just picking bottles to support his family. This made me admire his perseverance!
There are also many other posters to show the process of Coke making. However, as they are all jumbled up, I am not sure which is the first to the last process! :D
Maybe you can guide me on which process is stage 1 to the last!
Although the trip is boring as the guide did not introduce much about the things there, I still enjoyed myself taking photos and bonding with my friends! Feel honored to take picture and sing with Jay Chou!!
That's all for today!
