Today was another interesting, long and tiring day in Wuhan! As morning lecture was cancelled, I had the luxury to sleep till the late morning! On our way to lunch, I saw my one of my friends who is always lazy in doing things, even bathing, started taking many photos all of a sudden! This really puzzled me! Can you the guess the reason for it? Alright, let me the 'professor' enlighten you! It was all due the viewing of other classmates' blog that he realized photos are needed and started taking many photos at different angles! Let's hope that he took nice pictures for his wordpress!
The 'professional' photographer looking very serious in taking photos at different perspective and angles!
For lunch, I decided to try something new at a stall called 'Kou Shui Mian' (direct translation: 'Saliva Noodle') since the name is unique! I ordered a bowl of Ja Jiang Mian (Jajangmyeon which is quite famous in Korea) to try it out! The bowl of noodles looked nice and appetizing. However, after having my first mouth, I started to regret. Looking down at the big bowl of noodle, I was totally speechless. I knew that I should not waste food but that bowl of noodle just taste weird and awful to me. Taking in deep breaths, I had decided to gobble down the food as fast as possible. Though I only manage to eat only half the bowl of noodles, at least I had tried my best not to waste food!(pretty impressed by my effort :D)
My friend who ordered the same bowl of noodle, however, managed to finish it within minutes! This leads to me think of an idiom: 'One man's food is another man's poison!' It really taste awful to me! Hope that I would not encounter such food again as I really do not wish to waste food!
The bowl of noodles!
WARNING: Not for children below 13 with low tolerance level as it may result in wastage of food! (No Offense!)
Next, we had our lecture and a game of MAFIA WARS which is pretty similar to murderer after the lecture! As the game required quite a big area, we went to a large grass patch to conduct the game. The patch of grass there is really huge and many students went there to relax themselves from the stressful life, enjoy and even dating!
The large patch of grass where many students are enjoying and relaxing on it! Both Ngee Ann Polytechnic and government should have such places(with shelters as Singapore is hot!) for students to have a place to relax and it can also be used as a place for lunch since canteen is always packed during lunch hour!
Anyway, this MAFIA WARS is more interesting than murderer as the narrator can give any type of story! For example, when the murderer choose Joel to be killed, the narrator can say a story like this: Joel is a extremely handsome and good looking young man that every girl will die for! He is the most handsome person in country Y and was even the champion for the world most handsome man! However, this murderer is jealous of his look and decided to kill him! Hence, Joel is 'dead'!
After the games, my friends and I went to print our lecture notes! Printing lecture notes is easy in Singapore! However, in China, it can be quite tough as we need to learn to understand their chinese and ascent! We started off fine printing black and white paper and the price was reasonable. The problems came when we printed 1 of our lecture notes in coloured! As coloured one takes longer time to print, we were told to be back at 7pm to collect it. At 7pm, when we were to pay for the notes, we asked how much does the lecture notes cost. To my horror, the total cost is $345 RMB! The words pierced through my heart like a rapier piercing through bean-curd. It really shattered my heart that I had to pay S$13.80 for 1 lecture note. Though S$13.80 may seem not very expensive but it was all my parents' hard earn money which should be spent wisely since they are working so hard every now and then just to allow me to study and travel overseas! Dr Sujit must be so touched when he saw how much we treasure his notes which cost $3 RMB a piece! Lesson learnt from this incident is to ask for the price before doing anything!
$345 RMB notes!
The expensive piece of paper!
Lastly, I will like to wish every female a Happy Ladies Festival! I am not sure about what is this all about but I saw a sign outside my lecture class writing 'Nu Ren Jie' which is called Ladies Festival in English! It is an unique that I have seen for the first time!

Happy Ladies Festival!
That's all for today! I shall end it here and sleep soon to prepare for tomorrow lecture and tutorial!!
