Day 2 - The Welcome Party In Wuchang University of Technology

Today marked the second day of OIP trip. There are still 33 more days to go! The first event of the day was the welcome party plan by Wuchang University of Technology. The words 'welcome party' made me think of a welcome party with many university students welcoming us into their university. However, it is a vast difference from what I expected. The 'welcome party' was actually welcome speech by both our school lecturer and their school principal. Furthermore, there were only 3 university students welcoming us into their university.

Although the 'welcome party' may be abit of a disappointment, other places in the school gave me a new eye opening. We visited different places like the:

And the 'Welcome Sign' at the library that is made specially for us!

As usual, with such a magnificent sign board that welcome us, there will always be a photo taking session where we had to gather to take a photo with this signboard! I do not have the photo now to upload as it is with the lecturers but I will try my best to get is as soon as possible!

Lastly the beautiful scene of a lake on top of the library!

It was told to us that this lake rare fishes that is used to make fishballs in Wuhan. Personally, I had not tried any fishballs here yet but I will try it soon to see if it is really fresh!

As for the students in the university here, they are very friendly to share with us more about the school. As my chinese is not really that good, I could not really catch some of the things they said due to their ascent and my poor chinese. Anyway, the important thing is that they friendly to us!

These mark the end of my day 2 in Wuhan. Lectures will officially start tomorrow. I really hope I can be attentive in class even at a different environment and not to sleep during lecture!
